About

Tai Allen is a multidisciplinary artist and a co-founder (with John Nubian) of vicelounge, an interactive music partnership, who will lead this tribute to the late Oscar Brown, Jr. Brown, who was made famous by his 1960 album Sin & Soul, which addressed the issues of African-Americans while combining popular jazz instrumentals with original lyrics. The evening will be a snapshot into the poetry and songs of the great songwriter, poet, and activist.
