As top names from the United States, three American jazz artists of the hip-hop generation take the stage at Pakkahuone: saxophonist Marcus Strickland, vocalist José James and vibraphonist Joel Ross. This time, the furthermost artists arrive from Australia and South Africa. The international line-up is completed by some of the most exciting names in European jazz right now. On Friday and Saturday, six bands are playing Finnish jazz at Telakka. The weekend's late nights end at the Klubi, with performances by London Afrobeat Collective and French-Ethiopian Kutu....

Tämän vuoden kohdemaa Saksa näkyy ja kuuluu festivaaliohjelmassa laajasti. Spotlight on Germany -avajaiskonsertissa Klubilla esittäytyy kolme nuoremman sukupolven kokoonpanoa. Viikonlopun aikana Pakkahuoneen pääkonserteissa kuullaan myös kokeneempaa saksalaiskaartia.
Yhdysvalloista Pakkahuoneelle saapuu esiintymään kolme artistia: saksofonisti Marcus Strickland, vokalisti José James sekä vibrafonisti Joel Ross. Kaikkein kaukaisimmat artistit saapuvat aina Australiasta ja Etelä-Afrikasta asti, ja kansainvälisen kattauksen täydentävät eurooppalaisen jazzin mielenkiintoisimmat nimet juuri nyt. Telakalla soi perjantaina ja lauantaina kotimainen jazz yhteensä kuuden yhtyeen voimin. Viikonlopun myöhäisillat päättyvät Klubille, jossa esiintyvät London Afrobeat Collective ja ranskalais-etiopialainen Kutu.
Festivaali ja sen saksalaiskimara päätetään sunnuntaina Telakalla, jossa festivaalin päätöskonsertin soittaa saksalaispasunisti Janning Trumann yhtyeineen.
