We’ll kick off this two-part evening with Louisianan Terence Blanchard, renowned trumpeter and artistic director of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, accompanied by his solid quintet. Next up, the Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal, a large-scale ensemble with a flexible roster, highlighting the global jazz repertoire and its greatest composers.
