About

Country Blues mixed with Latin Hip Hop and Old Time Juju translate into a true Urban Jug Band. Ernesto "Lovercat" Gomez leads on vocals, guitar, kazoo, harmonica, and cajon with Arturo "the Jugman" Style on jug and harmonica and Eli "Sweet Son" Smith on vocals, washboard, guitar, and fiddle.
Jug bands originated in the South and enjoyed popularity around the St. Louis and Memphis area during the 20s and 30s, then nationwide during the 60s.
