The Fix at The Boston Room, George IV

The six members of this exciting band from South West London are made up of seasoned professionals and exciting young talent playing tight, funky covers of soul, funk & blues classics from the 60s, right through to the present day. Expect to hear James Brown, The Beatles, The Stones, Fleetwood Mac, The Scissor Sisters, Chaka Khan & Ike & Tina Turner along with many more dance floor favourites.

The band’s drummer, Mark Thompson is a seasoned musician with a great pedigree (The Jumpstarts, Bad Manners) and lead guitarist Rod Butcher is an experienced former session player who played with David Bowie and Mick Taylor. Bassman Iain Dey has played across multiple genres, from rock to country to funk and studio keyboard player Pete Connoly’s knowledge of early jazz and blues influences mixed with a passion for pop hooks make him a central cog in the Fix’s sound.
