Inspired by trumpeter, Freddie Hubbard's legendary "Night of the Cookers" album recorded live in Brooklyn in 1965. The New Cookers was created in homage to the jazz sound of Brooklyn past. Their hip hop rhythms, reference hard bop music and produce an exhilarating new sound. This will be an evening of hip jazz!
