Live performances create a special kind of energy. These cats feed off each other. Their spontaneous interaction is captivating. There is depth and subtlety in every tune chosen. The first set is typically a "dinner set" with lots of the jazz standards you love to love. In the second set the energy level is kicked up a notch or two, and you might hear some original compositions from anyone on the bandstand. By the third set anything and everything might happen.
