For more than twenty years over Labor Day Weekend, these master jazz musicians came together in Vail, Colorado to conduct the prestigious Vail Jazz Workshop. Although Vail Jazz is no longer presenting the workshop, we will get this rare opportunity to hear the “PREVAIL” All-Star Sextet. Lucky us!
Lewis Nash named the group PREVAIL, not only because they’ve worked together extensively in a variety of configurations “pre-Vail”; but more importantly because its members personify the definition of “prevail”.
