The brand-new Randy Villars Band is a quartet led by Saxophonist/Composer Randy Villars. Randy currently tours with funk legend Bootsy Collins playing alto sax, but in his group he plays the tenor saxophone. The rhythm section is Phil Degreg - pno, Scott Pazera or Matt WIles - bs, Phil Tipton - drs. The music consists of originals and arrangements by Randy Villars. The style falls between straight-ahead and fusion.
