Tuottaja-rumpali Teppo "Teddy Rok" Mäkysen studio-alias The Stance Brothers lukeutuu monesta yhteydestä tunnetun, arvostetun tekijän rakastetuimpiin projekteihin. Vuonna 2007 debyyttialbuminsa Kind Soul (Ricky-Tick Records) julkaissut ja viime vuosina rapsakoiden vinyylisinglejen julkaisuun keskittynyt The Stance Brothers teki hartaasti odotetun paluunsa kokopitkän levyn formaattiin 24.11.2023 kun We Jazz Records julkaisi uutuuslevyn Duktus. Mäkynen esitteli uuden The Stance Brothers -kokoonpanon We Jazz -festivaalilla joulukuussa 2023.Duktus pohjautuu toimivaksi havaittuun "Stance-soundiin", eli rullaavien rumpukomppien ja kuulaan vibrafonin yhdistelmään, mutta Mäkynen vie Stance Brothers -musiikin samalla pidemmälle kuin koskaan aiemmin. Singlelohkaisut Futuristic Earth ja Again näyttävät suuntaa syvemmälle, värikylläisemmälle kokonaisilmaisulle, mutta samalla ne toimivat vain pintaraapaisuna levylle, josta löytyy uusia kerroksia sen jokaisella raidalla.Konsertti on ikärajaton.
