In 2021, Thomas started a record label, Cosmo Sonic Collective, focused on releasing improvised music. He is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but is now based in Orlando, Florida. The Thomas Milovac Quartet released their newest album, Milos Motion, on Cosmo Sonic Collective in May of this year. The quartet features Shawn Villanueva on trumpet, Zach Muth on guitar, David Weatherspoon on drums, and Thomas on double bass performing Milovacs original compositions. Saxophonist Ryan Devlin and synthesist Derek Dunn also appear on the album.
