Celebrate Mardi Gras early with the band that lives and breathes New Orleans. The Tremé Brass Band mixes elements of funk, soul and modern jazz into traditional brass second line style. The band takes its name from New Orleans’ Tremé neighborhood, www.azmusicfest.org featured on HBO and in Spike Lee’s post-Hurricane Katrina documentaries. These kings of the French Quarter play traditional Big Easy favorites, along the lines of Gimme My Money Back, Back O’town Blues, and When the Saints Go Marching In.
