Bassist Ron Carter provides the musical accompaniment at this annual reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas," a NY tradition for over a century. This year's reader is NYT sports columnist William Rhoden. After the reading, there is a lantern procession to Trinity Cemetery and Mausoleum, where a wreath will be laid at the gravesite of Clement Clarke Moore, who wrote the poem in 1822 as a Christmas present for his children.
