The West Virginia Jazz Society’s “Summer Jazz 2014” program kicks off June 20 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, with the Uptown Summer Jazz Stroll offering multiple venues presenting live jazz music with no cover charge. Headline artists include The Himes Connection, The Great Entertainers, The Current Jazz Band, Osmosis, Latin Jazz Trio and Vince Lewis
Show times are 5:30pm, 7:00pm and 8:30pm for each venue. At press time, six different places will feature live jazz music in a variety of presentation formats.
The acts will include the Himes Connection at the Fifth Floor, the Great Entertainers at Uptown Seafood, the Current Jazz Band at Kelly’s Irish Pub and Grill, Osmosis at the Main Street Cafe & Gallery, Latin Jazz Trio at the Starving Artists Studio and Vince Lewis & Barbara Martin at the Bluebird.
