The iconic trio formed by the pianist Andy Emler with Claude Tchamitchian on double bass and Eric Echampard on drums has been an outstanding unit on the French Jazz scene for twenty-five years. In March 2025 the trio celebrates its jubilee with a Spring musical journey of 6 concerts in Finland.

For this new adventure of his trio, Andy has asked from the closest fans of the band what peculiar features of the music they appreciate the most.  He has written new tunes in which written and random parts tell us about the strong optimism of the three protagonists. Andy Emler trio huippujazztrio Ranskasta Vapaat äänet -kiertue tuo Koutasaliin ranskalaispianisti Andy Emlerin ikonisen trion basisti Claude Tchamitchianin ja rumpali Eric Echampardin kanssa. Suomessa useamman kerran vierailut pianisti-säveltäjä Andy Emler kuuluu ranskalaisen jazzin sävykkäisiin persoonallisuuksiin. Hänen pitkäaikainen trionsa basisti Claude Tchamitchianin ja rumpali Eric Echampardin kanssa on valovoimainen yksikkö, jossa tärkein solisti on itse tämä kolmikko. Trion niin ikään polyfoninen monologi ammentaa vaikutteita jazzista, rockista ja nykymusiikista kehittäen kiehtovan kokonaisuuden, josta syntyy lyyrisiä ja hypnoottisia tuulahduksia. Vuonna 2022 ilmestynyttä trion neljättä albumia ”The Useful Report” (La Buissonne Records) ylistettiin yksimielisesti alan lehdistössä. April Jazzissa 2013 mielenpainuvassa konsertissa saksofonisti Dave Liebmanin kanssa soittanut trio palaa Suomeen uudella ohjelmistollaan ”There is another way”.
