A pioneer of both 1960s Soul music and transgender rights, Jackie Shane never achieved the stardom she deserved. The 2024 documentary Any Other Way goes some way to ensure that Shane is properly enshrined as the trailblazer she was. Two-time Western Canadian Music Award winner Krystle Dos Santos will be performing a rare set of Shane’s music, followed by a screening of the film.
