St. Patrick’s Day just got even better! Credit Galway, Ireland’s We Banjo 3 for finding common ground between old world tradition and authentic Americana by playing their banjo, fiddle, guitar and mandolin in an innovation fusion of styles that they dub “Celtgrass.” This crossover is beautifully reflected on the group’s newest album Haven, the follow up album to String Theory, which went to # 1 on Billboard’s World Music Chart in August of 2016, practically an unheard feat for a self-released album.
