The Takoma Park JazzFest is a free, all-day music festival. Our stages are located on Carroll Ave. in downtown Takoma Park. We are a registered 501 (3) (c) non-profit, run by volunteers; our festival features local and international food vendors, and a midway with arts and crafts vendors. We present many genres of jazz- this year our focus is on the roots of jazz, with both traditional jazz acts, and pre-jazz sounds of blues and ragtime being presented along with other styles from both regional and national acts. We also are offering fre workshops with several master musicians.
