Wolfson Latin Jazz Big Band directed by Pete Francis. A special project of MDC faculty and pro musicians who have played with Miami Sound Machine, KC and the Sunshine Band, Issac Delgado, Chayanne, Tito Nieves, Celia Cruz, and many others. Come see Downtown Miami's original powerhouse 18-piece Latin Jazz Big Band performing Guaguanco, Rumba, Son, Songo, Boogaloo, Mambo, Contemporary Jazz and Latin Soul; including originals written specifically for the group by composers such as Grammy Award-winning producer Chino Nunez, Jaui Schneider (pianist/composer for Ray Barretto), and legendary Miami bassist/composer Rafael "Cali" Valencia.
