Montreal musicians Adrian Vedady (double bass) and Kate Wyatt (piano) have been performing and recording together for the last 2 decades. They have performed and recorded with renowned artists such as Marc Copland, Ravi Coltrane, Sheila Jordan, Peter Bernstein, Jay Clayton, Dave Liebman, Itamar Borochov, Donny McCaslin, and Ingrid Jensen, among others.
Joining them at Frankie’s will be Steve Kaldestad -tenor saxophone, Bill Coon -guitar and Joe Poole -drums. On the program: music by Thelonius Monk, Billy Strayhorn, Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, and Duke Ellington.
