Yoko Yates is a Japanese born and NYC based pianist, composer and educator. Her acclaimed 2022 debut on SteepleChase LookOut, "Mystic Life," introduced a composer with a direct line to a beguiling trove of childhood memories. Her second album, "Eternal Moments, "set for a September 19 release on Banka Records, showcases the same superlative cast of players while Yoko continues her sensorial sojourn, celebrating the wonders of the natural world (Andrew Gilbert).
At this concert, the quintet performs pieces from the brand new album "Eternal Moments."
