From a young age, Zak recognized the power of music to move people emotionally and bring people together. That belief has shaped every step of his path as a musician. \nZak currently studies at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University under the mentorship of acclaimed saxophonist Tim Green. Zak is refining his technical abilities and expanding his artistic voice. Beyond traditional concert halls, Zak brings his music directly to the community. He has played in jazz trios and quartets around the tri-state area of New York. Zak has played at venues such as Ornithology Jazz Club in Brooklyn, New York, and the Pittsfield City Jazz Festival in Massachusetts.
