International Zbigniew Seifert Jazz Violinists Competition

This year’s Seifert Competition will be held online, in virtual space. 14 participants from 11
countries have qualified for our contest. Their auditions can be followed on 8th-10th July on YouTube
and on the Seifert Competition’s Facebook profile.
The jury consisting of Miroslav Vitouš, Ernst Reijseger, and Michał Urbaniak had no easy task this year. 40 excellent violinists, violists, and cellists from all over the world have submitted their entries for the 4 th Zbigniew Seifert International Jazz Violin Competition. Out of this number, the following young artists have eventually qualified for the semi-finals: Johannes Dickbauer (Austria), Gabriel Vieira (Brazil), Clément Janinet (France), Youenn Rohaut (France), Tadas Dešukas (Lithuania), Kristjan Rudanovski (Estonia), Kristijan Krajncan (Slovenia), Dawid Czernik (Polska), John Pearce (United Kingdom), Dominic Ingham (United Kingdom), Omer Ashano (Israel), Gabe Terracciano (USA), Greg Byers (USA), and João Silva (Portugal).
