This Labor Day weekend Jazz on the Chesapeake presents the 2012 Monty Alexander Jazz Festival, bringing legendary jazz pianist Monty Alexander to the historic Avalon Theatre in Easton. The three-day event offers performances by both seasoned and fast rising stars of national and international acclaim.

Beginning as a single concert three years ago, the Festival has already expanded to include performances involving more than a dozen world-class jazz artists.
