Jazz studies include private lessons with Richie Hart (Berklee College), Pat Martino, George Benson and Wolf Marshall along with live performances with Mike Clark (Herebie Hancock), Joe Beck, Mundell Lowe and Matt Guitar Murphy in Los Angeles. Tom has performed at Severance Hall, Browns Stadium, MOCA, BOCA, The Bop Stop, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Nighttown along with clubs and festivals nationally. The performances go from trio to quintet depending on the event. Just recently completing the recordings of Chartreuse, his new jazz suite of works released in 2021 and Orange Sunset a jazz trio version of the same suite 2022. Toms compositions are multi-genre jazz, combining numerous styles of jazz, blues, funk and more, making it easy for both casual listeners and serious music afficionados to enjoy. All of this music comes from the heart and is quite different from what commercial music offerings says Tom.
