Geoff Vidal makes his Pittsfield CityJazz Festival debut in the performance space at Baba Louie's Backroom (34 Depot St., Pittsfield, Mass.). Newly-named lead tenor saxophonist with the West Point big band (Jazz Knights), Geoff appears with his high-energy, creative quartet. His performance opens "headline weekend" for the 9th annual Pittsfield festival, a signature cultural event of the fall foliage season in western Massachusetts.
