The leader band led by Itzumi Komano, a trombonist who is very popular in the jazz scene, makes its first appearance at BODY&SOUL.
Born in 1988, Komano began playing the trombone in junior high school. She started playing the trombone in junior high school and participated in sessions with veteran and up-and-coming musicians since he was in college. After graduation, she toured Australia as a member of the Aaron Choulai Quintet, a pianist from Papua New Guinea, to great acclaim. She has since been active in the music scene, performing at the Summer Jazz Festival in Hong Kong and giving concerts as a trombone duo at nine venues throughout Switzerland.
