Jacob Artved Quartet - Artved/Ferm/AC/Høyer at Gaarden Og Gaden

Jacob Artved is on his way to Copenhagen from his exile in New York City. A true comet with a long history as a musician despite his young age. I won't bore you with stories about how he was the youngest ever to be admitted to the conservatory at age 15, or how he has been challenging himself with the greatest on New York's jazz scene since he was 18, where he now lives. Now, at the age of 25, he masters the classic jazz guitar tradition at a level that rivals his former teacher and namesake Jacob Fischer. We look forward to welcoming him to two concerts at Gaarden & Gaden, in the fine company of one of Copenhagen's best trios consisting of none other than Ned Ferm on saxophone, Anders AC Christensen on double bass, and Jakob Høyer on drums. We'll make sure the mulled wine is simmering and the ginger snaps are crisp. The concerts are from 15-17 and excuses for not reserving a table for dining afterwards are not accepted!...

En sand komet med lang musikererfaring bag sig, trods sin unge alder. Jeg vil ikke kede jer med historier om at han, som den yngste nogensinde, blev optaget på konservatoriet som 15-årig. At han, siden han var 18, har prøvet kræfter med de største på New Yorks jazzscene hvor han i dag bor. At han nu, i en alder af 25, mestrer den klassiske jazzguitar-tradition på et niveau der tangerer hans tidligere lærer og navnebror Jacob Fischer.
Vi glæder os til at byde velkommen til hele to koncerter på Gaarden & Gaden. I fornemt selskab med en af Københavns bedste trioer bestående af ingen ringere end Ned Ferm på saxofon, Anders AC Christensen på kontrabas og Jakob Høyer på trommer.
Vi sørger for at gløgggryden snurrer og brunkagerne er sprøde. Koncerterne er fra 15-17 og undskyldninger for ikke at reservere bord til spisning efterfølgende, godtages ikke!
