Miles Davis, Sting, Weather Report, Herbie Hancock, Tracy Chapman, Peter Gabriel, Stevie Wonder, Lou Reed, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Vicente Amigo, Dizzy Gillespie, Pat Metheny, Branford Marsalis, Pino Daniele, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Salif Keita, is a small selection of the international jazz, world, and pop stars that Mino has worked with since the late ’70s. All of which is to say that Mino draws on a legacy of sound and space that inform his work while staying current and modern.
Mino has earned a reputation as a master-of-all-trades, with solo album credits of his own: Mino Cinélu, Quest Journey, and La Californie. In addition, he produced the album Carnet De Bord for French singer/songwriter Bernard Lavilliers as well as Swamp Sally, a duo release with himself and pianist Kenny Barron. Mino was also the co-leader and producer of World Trio featuring himself, guitarist Kevin Eubanks, and bassist Dave Holland.
The impact of Oz Noy's unique, intoxicating blend of jazz, funk, rock, blues, and R&B has broken the rules of instrumental guitar by focusing on the groove. Oz won the highly acclaimed Guitar Player magazine readers poll for “best guitar riff on a record” and its “best new talent.” Noy's All-star collaborators on his own projects include Anton Fig, Will Lee, James Genus, among many others. Noy has performed, toured and recorded worldwide with Chris Botti, Harry Belafonte, Cyndi Lauper, Toni Braxton, Phoebe Snow, Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, Dave Weckl, Mike Manieri, Bill Evans, Warren Hayes, Gov’t Mule, and Allen Toussaint.
Emerging bass player, Jomathan Toscano, is enjoying collaborations with world class players on the international stage. Toscano’s harmonic range and percussive feel have made him a sought after man on the bandstand in his early career. His dynamic style on upright and electric bass has brought him major performing credits with celebrated artists.. Toscano has performed at the notable venues across the globe and is currently working with drum master Omar Hakim and virtuoso pianist Rachel Z.
Rocky Bryant’s diverse drumming abilities have kept him on stage and in the studio with some of the best names in music - Dianne Reeves (Grammy Award winning album), Branford Marsalis & Buckshot LeFonque, Lalah Hathaway, Peter Frampton, Cyndi Lauper, David Sanborn, Daryl Hall (Hall & Oates), and Billy Joel, to highlight but a few. Throughout his travels, Rocky also became interested in writing. He studied composition with Edgar Grana in NY, when touring permitted. He has since co-written for the albums, Music Evolution (Buckshot LeFonque) and Souvenir (Ricky Peterson).
