The Planet Flippo quartet performs cuts from their fifth and newest CD - Life on Mars - Flippo arrangements of tunes by Bowie, Hendrix, Dylan, Wonder, Mitchel, Bruce (Cream) &Lennon/McCartney plus new additions by Winehouse, Sting and Radio Head. There's always a few familiar standards mixed in and some of Flippo's newest tunes like "Freewheelin'" or "Third Eye Open." This trio features Dave on grand piano, Heath Chappel on drums, Dan Hesler on saxophones and guest bassist Brian Sandstrom on acoustic bass.
