Joe Ford Quartet at The Colored Musicians Club

Legendary saxophonist Joe Ford (alumnus of McCoy Tyner's bands) returns to Buffalo for the first time since 2011. In his Friday evening performance at the Historic Colored Musicians Club he leads a quartet with Buffalo mainstays pianist Bobby Jones, bassist Sabu Adeyola, and drummer Abdul Rahman Qadir.

(The quartet will also play at Villa Maria College on Thursday, November 11, at 11am; free. Joe Ford will also be the featured soloist with the Buffalo Jazz Octet at Pausa Art House on Thursday, November 12 at 8pm; $7 general admission; $5 students.)
