Jukkis Uotila has arranged a set based on personal memories, featuring gems of Finnish jazz from the 1970s to the present day. The program includes compositions by Esko Linnavalli, Eero Koivistoinen, Olli Ahvenlahti, Severi Pyysalo, Jarmo Savolainen, and several other composers.
Drummer, pianist, composer, and the first-ever Nordic jazz music professor, Jukkis Uotila, is a regular performer at Koko Jazz Club, and his concerts will continue in the fall. Esko Linnavallin, Eero Koivistoisen, Olli Ahvenlahden, Severi Pyysalon, Jarmo Savolaisen ja useiden muiden säveltäjien teoksia.
Rumpali, pianisti, säveltäjä ja kaikkien aikojen ensimmäinen pohjoismainen jazzmusiikin professori Jukkis Uotila on yksi Koko Jazz Clubin vakioesiintyjistä ja konsertit saavat jatkoa syksyllä. Upean laajan kansainvälisen uransa aikana hän on julkaissut omalla nimellään yhdeksän levyä ja on esiintynyt muun muassa legendaaristen nimien, kuten huuliharpisti-kitaristi Toots Thielemansin ja trumpetisti Randy Breckerin yhtyeissä.Jukkis soittaa yhtyeessä rumpuja ja on koonnut ympärilleen upean ryhmän.
