Sideman of artists from all walks of life and co-creator of various projects, Kévin Lazakis joins the #JazzDeDemain residency to share his musical projects.Having grown up in the Toulouse region, the guitarist oscillates between music school and self-taught learning. In particular, he joined the jazz musicology course at the Jean Jaurès University then in the jazz class of the C.R.R de Montauban, directed at that time by the saxophonist and composer David Haudrechy, where he obtained the DEM in jazz in 2014. Two years later, he was admitted to the DNSPM course at the Center des Musiques Didier Lockwood (C.M.D.L), where he perfected his skills with guitarist Pierre Perchaud. Since then, he has lived in Paris and collaborated with Cheick Tidiane Seck, Stomy Bugsy, Alexandre Monfort, Etibar Asadli, Clélya Abraham, Emcee Agora, Lester Getz, Violet Indigo, Theorem of Joy, Joanne Radao… and surrounded himself to create various projects ( Machineless, Anga Tafe, Aiteka).Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain niche gave birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experience the stage, to prowl a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. Sideman d’artistes de tous horizons et cocréateur de différents projets, Kévin Lazakis rejoint la résidence #JazzDeDemain pour y partager ses projets musicaux.Ayant grandi en région toulousaine, le guitariste oscille entre école de musique et apprentissage autodidacte. Il intègre notamment la filière musicologie jazz de l'université Jean Jaurès puis dans la classe de jazz du C.R.R de Montauban, dirigée à ce moment-là par le saxophoniste et compositeur David Haudrechy, où il obtiendra le DEM de jazz en 2014. Deux ans plus tard, il est admis au cursus DNSPM du Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood (C.M.D.L), où il se perfectionne auprès du guitariste Pierre Perchaud.Depuis, il vit à Paris et collabore avec Cheick Tidiane Seck, Stomy Bugsy, Alexandre Monfort, Etibar Asadli, Clélya Abraham, Emcee Agora, Lester Getz, Violet Indigo, Theorem of Joy, Joanne Radao… et s’entoure pour créer différents projets (Machineless, Anga Tafè, Aïteka).Créé en 2012, le créneau #JazzDeDemain a donné naissance à une série de résidences mensuelles et bimestrielles, permettant à des jeunes artistes d’expérimenter la scène, de rôder un répertoire, tout en le présentant au public.
