Masters & Apprentices at The Jazzlab

In this wonderful performance we collaborate with the students at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. This semester's Masters & Apprentices ensemble features music by Gian Slater- performing songs from across her vast repertoire of acapella, small and large ensemble music. The ensemble features an exceptional rhythm section and lead players, alongside a glorious 7 piece vocal section. It explores changing foreground and background roles, complex rhythmic material and varying improvisatory environments. This wonderful performance is part of the Andrea Keller Curates series at the Jazzlab.
