ANTON DELECCA is an award winning tenor saxophonist, composer and educator from Melbourne, who has recently been living in New York. In May 2019 he completed a Masters in Music in Jazz Studies at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, New York. He played for many years with internationally renowned band The Bamboos and has performed and/or recorded with artists such as American jazz legends Arthur Blythe, Odean Pope, Wycliffe Gordon and recently funk legend Maceo Parker. His group the Anton Delecca Quartet has three albums out on Australia’s leading jazz label, Jazzhead and he is featured on many other Australian jazz recordings.
