The group's members met while attending the prestigious Jazz Studies program at Western Michigan University and started to develop their sound; leading to the recording of their debut album "East Coast Transplant". Now with members living in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Kalamazoo; The Sam Pilnick Project is still trying to evolve their sound. With a second album already in the works, the quintet reaches for new sonic territories and wishes to bring you on the journey with them....
