Mike Downes and the Parallel Streams Ensemble celebrate the release of "In the Current" on Addo Records. If Gil Evans and others were creating "third stream" music in the 1950s, then Mike and band take us into 2014 with lush and melodic orchestrations stemming from the many tributaries of music. The Parallel Streams ensemble is an 11-piece group featuring some of Toronto's top musicians.
