Manhattan School of Music’s Jazz Arts Program and Sue Mingus, Director of Let My Children Hear Music and The Mingus Institute, present the Ninth Annual Charles Mingus High School Competition and Festival from February 17 to 20. The competition and festival brings high school jazz students together from around the country to compete in the competition finals as well as experience masterclasses, workshops, and performances.
