Nirek Mokar is a 21-year-old pianist from Paris. He fell in love with the Boogie Woogie piano when he had the chance to see and hear all the great Boogie-Woogie specialists play at the "Paris Boogie Speakeasy" where his father worked. Nirek Mokar est un jeune pianiste parisien de 21 ans. C'est en ayant la chance de pouvoir écouter et voir jouer tous les grands spécialistes du Boogie-Woogie au "Paris Boogie Speakeasy" où travaillait son père qu'il a le coup de foudre pour le piano Boogie Woogie. Passionné par cette musique, mais aussi par le Blues, le Swing et le Rock'n'roll, il s'y consacre entièrement.Faisant preuve d'une maturité étonnante et d'un swing exceptionnel, il devient vite le petit chouchou des amateurs de Boogie. En 2020, son album « Be my guest » est récompensé par le Grand Prix du Disque du Hot Club de France.Pour l'occasion, Nirek invite la pétillante chanteuse Emilie Hedou à se joindre à lui et ses Boogie Messengers. Passionnée de musique noire américaine, marquée par la Soul, le Blues et le Jazz, Emilie Hedou, c'est une voix chaude et puissante habitée par le rythme ! Accompagné de ses Boogies Messengers, le saxophone ténor Claude Braud, le guitariste du blues français Stan Loubard Pacha, Gael Pétetin à la batterie et Vincent Talpaert à la contrebasse (on a pu l'entendre aux côtés de Moriarty), c'est un groupe intergénérationnel dans lequel des vieux briscards swinguent, soutiennent et mettent en valeur tout le talent du nouveau prodige français du Boogie-Woogie.
