Vocalist, musician, arranger and composer Paul Jost brings his special magic to the Somers Point Jazz Festival with his select trio of musicians: Jim Ridl, piano, Dean Johnson, bass, and Tim Horner, drums. Jost has been performing worldwide with recent tours in South Korea and Ireland and a performance in Germany at the JazzAhead international conference and expo. Last month, Paul released his latest album with TJP, "Peace and Love" and his previous release, "Breaking Away," continues to receive rave reviews. Paul’s vocals are so soulful that music journalist Buster Maxwell wrote, 'He nearly single-handedly reclaims the male voice as a valid and critically important jazz instrument.' Peter McLaren in Jazz in Europe wrote, “Paul Jost has shown that he is a force to be reckoned with and an artist that deserves to be seen on all great festival stages worldwide.”
