Mark Pucci Media
Mark Pucci began his career in 1972 in Memphis, TN, as music editor for a monthly entertainment magazine. In addition to writing features, album and live reviews, he supervised a freelance staff of six writers from around the South. Some of the artists he interviewed during this time included David Bowie (one of the first interviews granted during his American Ziggie Stardust Tour), Lou Reed, ZZ Top, The Allman Brothers Band, The New York Dolls, Mott The Hoople, Ted Nugent, Robin Trower and Big Star. He also began to freelance stories to several national magazines, including Rolling Stone, Phonograph Record Magazine and Zoo World, and produced radio commercials for Mid-South Concerts.
