Randy Kaye was known for his unique and innovative approach to percussion and jazz drumming. Kaye began playing professionally when he was only 15, making the rounds at famed NYC jazz clubs like The Village Vanguard. He played with many amazing musicians including Paul Chambers, Jaki Byard,Perry Robinson,Dave Izenson,Sheila Jordan,Jimi Hendrix,Bobby Naughton and Jimmy Giuffre. While he frequently toured and recorded in europe,Randy called the Berkshires his home for over 30 years until his passing in 2008....
