Founded in 1986 as a vehicle to release solo-pianist George Maurer's debut release, Behind the Pine Curtain, PCPI has grown into a modest midwest independent label, with about 20 releases in it's catalog, from 10 solo piano releases by George Maurer to 4 releases by the George Maurer JAzz Group.
