This year, Parlato is nominated for a Grammy in the tough Best Jazz Vocal Album series with his album Lean In. Parlato, who has been nominated for a Grammy twice before, is also known for her sensual and nuanced voice and strong stage presence. Parlato, who charmed the audience at Pori Jazz Festival in 2022, will now perform for the first time in Helsinki, together with the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra. This year, Parlato is nominated for a Grammy in the tough Best Jazz Vocal Album series with his album Lean In. The first set of the evening goes to young vibraphonist phenomenon Sasha Berliner, who has already performed with the brightest stars of the jazz world, such as Christian McBride and Cecile McLorin Salvant. At the Savoy JAZZFest, Berliner will be joined by pianist Rasmus Sorensen, bassist Simon Jermyn and drummer Joe Peri.

Parlato on tänä vuonna Grammy-ehdokkaana kovatasoisessa Best Jazz Vocal Album -sarjassa albumillaan Lean In. Myös kahdesti aiemmin Grammy-ehdokkaana ollut Parlato tunnetaan sensuellista ja vivahteikkaasta äänestään sekä vahvasta lavaesiintymisestään. Vuonna 2022 Pori Jazzissa yleisön hurmannut Parlato esiintyy nyt ensimmäistä kertaa Helsingissä, yhdessä UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestran kanssa. Parlaton hittikappaleiden big band -sovitukset on laatinut maineikas Jim McNeely. Kapellimestarina toimii Ed Partyka.
