The Blue Mountain Band is based in Dutchess County NY and is in demand for concerts and club dates from Philadelphia, Boston, Albany and upstate NY . Featuring the warm vocals and presence of Bob Stump. Delivering a diverse song selection. Influenced by bluegrass, country blues, folk, western swing , jazz standards & traditional instrumentals. The original music they present is a unique melting pot of Americana. If you listen close to "Roadside Attraction " the title cut from their bluegrass charged CD you can hear an Everly Brothers chord vamp mixed in with a classic Bluegrass "G" run, mixed in with an Irish Scottish fiddle tune. This is only a piece of the puzzle that makes up this musical hybrid. The stories that float along the top of these melodic waves in three part harmony are the ship the band is sailing to complete the picture. The Blue Mountain Band is always evolving. Their performances are lively, spontaneous and entertaining with audience interaction and participation. Joining Bob will be Roy Coates on bass, banjo & mandolin . Rounding out the ensemble is Johnny Resk on percussion including the cajon.
