Since making a successful debut at BODY&SOUL in 2022, the leader band of the acclaimed vocalist TAKU is set to be streamed.
After refining his singing skills in New York and returning to Japan, TAKU has collaborated with many veteran musicians, including David Bryant (piano) and Gene Jackson (drums), who are active overseas. With a rich vocal range from low to high, TAKU's captivating voice has positioned him as an emerging star in the world of jazz vocals. This performance will feature a duo with Tony Suggs, the fifth-generation pianist of the Count Basie Orchestra. From the second set onward, the stage will be joined by the young and promising cellist Hideaki Gon, known for his support with popular Japanese band King Gnu, promising an even more expansive and enjoyable musical arrangement.
