Led by Ed Goldstein, tuba, The Peabody Ragtime Ensemble is an 8-piece acoustic band preserves the roots of American Jazz through performance of the vintage repertoire. A concert by Peabody Ragtime Ensemble is a quirky, joyous potpourri of American music spanning a vast repertoire of early jazz styles including ragtime, Dixieland, big band, swing, novelties and vocals. And, as it is October, we can probably expect a polka or two in celebration of Octoberfest!
All are welcome! Venue is 2 blocks from Forest Glen, red line. Plenty of parking.
