First United Methodist Church

Occasionally this church (as well as its separate Christian Life Center at 218 Pratt Street) is used by local nonprofits for events/fundraisers featuring live jazz. It has served as a venue during the annual, week-long Hot Springs JazzFest. “Jazz After Church” (creative interpretations - by accomplished jazz artists - of hymns and other sacred texts) was scheduled there at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, 21 September 2014 as the closing event for the Hot Springs Jazz Society's 23rd annual festival.
