Ohio Club

The Ohio Club - established in 1905 and located across from Bathhouse Row in historic downtown Hot Springs - is Arkansas's oldest saloon. On 15 January 2015, the venue (famous for its antique back bar of hand-carved mahogany) began presenting free, live jazz each Thursday (7-10 pm) in its intimate performance space upstairs. (There is no elevator but music can be heard downstairs.) Food and beverage service is available throughout the evening. Each week a different special guest performs with a trio led by pianist Clyde Pound. Thursday Jazz photos/videos are sometimes posted on the Facebook page/website for the venue (theohioclub.com) and/or the Hot Springs Jazz Society (hsjazzsociety.org)
