Among the performers who have graced the MSJ stage in the past are Charlie Byrd, Bucky Pizzarelli, Dave Frishberg, Gary Burton, Deborah Henson-Conant, Leroy Jones, and Dave McKenna, along with Clark Terry, Etta James, Kevin Mahogany, Gray Sargent, and Dakota Staton. The list is a long one, and many of these artists do return concerts.
Directions: FROM BOSTON: Take Rt 1A to Rt. 129, Swampscott into Marblehead where 129 turns into Atlantic Avenue. After Mobil gas station on left, take next right onto Washington Street. Take left at blinking yellow light and bear right up the hill. You're on Mugford Street. The Church is at the top of the hill on the left. FROM ROUTE 128: Take Exit 25A onto Rt. 114 East. Follow 114E through Salem which turns into Pleasant Street in Marblehead. Stay on Pleasant Street to the very end, take left onto Washington Street and one block down take left at blinking yellow light (around the yellow painted Old Town House) and bear right up the hill. You're on Mugford Street. The church is at the top of the hill on the left. BY MBTA BUS: Take T Bus #441 or 442-Marblehead from Haymarket Square T Station. Get off at Town House Square and walk half a block up Mugford Street. The Unitarian Church is at the top on the left. PARKING: Try to find on-street parking on Washington, Mugford, Elm or Pond Street. Elm is the first right after the church, Pond is the second right. Please don't park in no-parking areas.
